The basic production process of seamless tube


(1) Preparation of blank. It includes storage, inspection and surface finishing, interception and cold centering of tube billets.

(2) Tube billet heating. After the annular heating furnace, the tube billet is heated. After the tube billet is released, it is usually sent to the perforation process through thermal centering.


(3) Perforation. Perforation is the perforation of a solid tube blank into a hollow capillary. The quality of the inner and outer surface of the capillary and the uniformity of the wall thickness will directly affect the quality of the product. Therefore, according to the requirements of product skills and conditions, it is very important to consider the possible supply condition and choose the correct perforation method. The perforated tube is called a capillary.

(4) Pipe mill. Pipe rolling is to roll the perforated capillary wall thickness to achieve the required thermal scale and uniformity of the product pipe. Pipe rolling is the primary extension process of pipe making. Its shape selection and reasonable matching of deformation with the perforation process are the key to determine the product quality, output value and technical economic index of the unit. The pipe after the rolling is called the pipe.


(5) Sizing and reducing. Diameter sizing is the finishing rolling process after the waste pipe, so that the capillary pipe to obtain the required outer diameter thermal scale and accuracy. Reducing is to reduce the large pipe diameter to the required standard size and accuracy, which is the finishing process. In order to reduce the wall at the same time as reducing the diameter, it can be reduced under the action of the front and rear tension, that is, tension reducing. After reducing and tension reducing machine generally need to reheat the pipe.
